A fourteen year old girl set sail from Gilbraltar to become the
youngest person to set sail around the world.

Many feel this is unsafe and dangerous. Is this trip about adversity
or is this trip about ego and family narcissism.

We have laws for teens as far as age limits for driving due to safety
and maturity issues as well as for other reasons ..

If a child whom is 11 wants to sail across the world do we let them?
If a child who is 8 wants to sail across the world do we let him/her.

Where are the boundaries ? Limits? Rules ? Society needs to decide.
