ADHD Children Therapy

Scientists discovered that a critical mental control area, called the
dorsal anterior cingulate cortex worked much harder and perhaps, less
efficiently among children with attention problems. There seems to be
an unusual pattern of brain function with those diagnosed with ADD or
ADHD.

The great news is that the brain is able to repave old wiring and this
has been displayed in children with ADHD and other disorders(learning
disabilities etc)

Children and teens can learn to rewire impulsivity, inattentiveness,
and focus issues with a variety of tools.

Behavior modification and cognitive behavioral therapy show huge
sucess with ADHD children and adolescents as well as a multimodal
therapy approach.

percent less likely to suffer from depression.

Women that watched three hours of TV were 12 percent more likely to
suffer from depression .

Active exercise releases endorphins that make women feel good so
embrace daily exercise!

The biggest secret on our planet is that no one wants to talk about is
that 1/4 girls and one in six boys are molested before age 18! This
means 25 percent of youth under 18 have been sexually abused and
traumatized.

We must help the victims and the victimizers for victimizers many
times were victims!

The deep emotional scars for victims must be addressed in society
through love, support and psychotherapy to help the victims feel safe
and secure and regain balance and health.

The victimizers need intense psychotherapy in society/ prisons
otherwise they will likely re-offend and
there will be more victims .

Healing the deep emotional wounds is vital otherwise it will spill out
into: drugs, sex, addiction, and other dark behaviors.

Kids counseling anxiety sleep Arizona

Sixty six percent of children up to middle school are not getting
sufficient sleep according to Narional sleep experts.

Children are falling asleep in school and schools are pushing back
start times however this may not be the solution.

Research has shown children that are deprived of sleep are prone to
unhealthy and behaviors that are not productive: acting out behaviors,
depression, anxiety, mood swings, inability to focus ( ADD, ADHD)
symptoms, weight gain,

The child’s sleep deprived body releases adrenaline and cortisol that
not only make them hyper and unable to focus and impact brain
development.

Electronics in the bedroom is one of the biggest obstacles to sleep:
texting, tv, Internet, facebook, social media etc.

Diet and exercise are vital for sound sleep.

Setting limits and boundaries is possible. Parents can learn to set

socially, mentally, and physically.

Defensive coach Bray of ASU states it is the Sun Devil mind set! ”
they are locked in mentally better.” ” I think half of them are like
me, they are Attention Deficit Disorder so getting them to focus for
very long is tough.”

If ASU can stay mentally tough and cut their penalties in half they
can go to a solid bowl game if not it could be no bowl game or a low
end bowl game.

Anxiety Depression Social Skills child teen

Over thirty five percent of children are on facebook. Social media
sites can be positive ,however,many children are spending 6-8 hours a
day on electronics.

Children are not developing interpersonal skills or proper social
skills. Children are getting lost in their electronic world and family
interactions and family communication are declining rapidly.

Children and teens are well versed on:
Mario Brothers,World of Warcraft , Halo, and other electronic
apparatus and social inhibition and anxiety are rising .

Obesity and diabetes are on the rise due to limited physical exercise.
Depression and anxiety is on the rise due to limited social
interactions.

Video games, Tv, social media, Internet need to be limited and each
child needs a balanced daily approach that enhances social skills,
academics, grades, family communication, exercise, and healthy
activities.

Endless hours on electronics is not healthy. Set limits and find a
balanced approach for child’s health.
