Teens can decrease anxiety and stress by : eating regularly , avoiding excess caffeine , avoiding drugs and alcohol , learning healthy communication skills , relaxation exercises , decrease negative self talk, feel good about doing a good Job not looking for perfectionism , find positive supportive friends . By using these skills children and teenagers can build a confident foundation of skills to cope with life’s stress and anxiety .
