Sleep and Depression-Anxiety Teens and Adolescents

It is very important that: children, teens, adolescents, kids receive adequate sleep.

There is a trong connection between depression and not receiving enough sleep. Teens should get a minimum of 9 hours of sleep. Children need at least 11 hrs of sleep.

It is important to discuss health and why sleep is essential with your child and adolescent.

Parents need to set limits with: cell phones, computers, and Tvs so children and teens can get enough sleep to do well in school and maintain a balanced mood.
